Must admit. I am struggling to keep with my decision to avoid writing about adoption this month. Sadly, it is all that comes to my mind. I have daily bursts of “OOH, that would be a good post” or “Ooh, I should blog about that”.
I will keep trying.

When a mother is forced to choose between the child and the culture, there is something abhorrently cruel and unconsidered about that culture. A culture that requires harm to one's soul in order to follow the cultures prescriptions is a very sick culture indeed. This 'culture' can be the one a woman lives in, but more damning yet, it can be the one she carries around and complies with within her own mind….." — Women Who Run With The Wolves by Clarissa Pinkola Estes

I hope you are putting these ideas in a file somewhere to write about later. : ) you know we all like to read what you write.
Thanks Didda. There is one particular post that has been swimming around my heart for months. I hope I can get that one out soon.
*sigh* It just sucks all around, doesn’t it?
I do miss reading your wonderful insights ~ but I totally get your decision to not write this month.
Ah, I did the opposite.
After not writing about the subject for years, I’m doing so as a part of NaNoWriMo/NaBloPoMo.
I do also understand the need/importance of focusing on life beyond it… and, for what its worth, think that’s a healthy thing.
I, too, miss reading your blog. I absolutely support your decision, though.
It’s always on our minds, huh? I support your boycott and look forward to reading what you have to say in December.
I hope you are putting these ideas in a file somewhere to write about later.
