“People are always blaming their circumstances for what they are. I don’t believe in circumstances. The people who get on in this world are the people who get up and look for the circumstances they want, and if they can’t find them make them.” – George Bernard Shaw

Reading old blog posts can be quite rewarding.

I looked up the post “Come On Out ” for a fellow blog and twitter friend as it resonated with something she was writing about.

Amazed me, inspired me even, that I think I am finally truly at the synthesis stage. I feel it more now than I did when I wrote that post.

Thank you friend for inspiring me to look that up. In helping you (I hope), I helped myself as well.

Cheers to us both.

2 Thoughts.

  1. I’m glad you linked to that post. I think I read it at the time, but it was great to see again. I’d always been skeptical of those stages of coming out, but I think I’m sort of warming to them as I see more people play it out.

  2. Cheers indeed! And I agree with Thorn, that post is a really good one – sensitive, smart and wise. The topics you choose coupled with your writing ability has helped countless people, no doubt about it.
