No idea what was in this envelope. Clearly I saved it for some reason. Today it strikes me how the hospital staff noted well, what they noted. View image. You will see what I mean. Good thing I did not want privacy.
I received this letter from my Easter House caseworker, Colleen Rogers, in July 1986 not quite three months after my daughter was born and surrendered.
This image is a bit light due to age. Text (typos and all) on it says:
“This is to confimr that on August 19, 1983 you were offered placement of a male child born August 14, 1983 and that you declined this placement indicating that from this point on you would like to be considered only for placement of a fe-male child.
We will adjust our records to reflect this preference”
