Where She Was

This song is one of the most powerful songs I heard post reunion. Odd I never heard it before that.  When I finally did it left me sobbing on the floor of my home office. You know, that deep, soul sucking, slobbering, I cannot breathe, my eyes hurt, I think I might die kind of crying. I did that.  I later decided the song cracked a hole or two in my damn of adoption emotion. The song made a crack in the wall far too large for me to hold back the wave.   I later used it as the sound track to a photo montage I created of my daughter.

It is an incredibly moving song. Listen to it from the perspective of a mother missing her child. The song is by Enya and is titled “If I Could Be Where You Are”.
