Sandy Hook Green

If you have read here for any length of time you know I live in Connecticut. The tragedy that took place in Sandy Hook, CT last year hit pretty close to home for me. A friend and member of my staff lives in Newtown and her son attended Sandy Hook School. He survived as his teacher hid him and his classmates in a bathroom.

This friend did something really constructive with her grief. Being she is a creative, she contact OPI and asked about the development and distribution of a special nail color. With little to no question, OPI executives agreed.

This nail color is now available to the public.

Sandy Hook Green – a limited edition nail polish created by OPI. Wear it to show your support for the Sandy Hook Promise, a commitment to build safer and healthier communities free from the threat of gun violence. Supply is limited so get yours today.

Why wear it? Let the ladies in this video tell you. My friend Jenn is the woman that appears right after the pregnant woman and also the one that makes the heart sign with her hands.
